AI in my design practice
My production work shipped before AI became part of a designer's toolkit, so this section is my practice ground: design system experiments, pet projects, and notes on what I've learned.
How I synthesize user interviews with Claude — without letting it invent the insights
Four stages, and the checkpoints that stop a summary from passing as an insight.
Stacking roles: the best thing Claude does is disagree with me
Build it, attack it, rebuild what survives. The critic is the highest-leverage role.
Competitive analysis with AI: the map versus the coordinates
Claude gives you the map. You spot-check the coordinates.

The minimum mental model for designing AI features that don't break trust.
About
I design B2B banking and fintech tools: admin systems, low-code platforms, credit workflows. 6+ years in the domain, most of them on products with unforgiving constraints — regulation, legacy systems, power users who spend the whole day in the interface. Work like that suits me.
This site shows both sides of my practice: production work that shipped to real banks, and my experiments with AI — the area where I'm pushing my skills hardest right now.
Trained at the Apple Developer Academy in Naples, 2019.
